Tucker, this is serious. I've got to go away for a while, and I need you to promise me that you'll watch over the beans.

No, oh hell no, you can't follow me, lug. I've put it off as long as I can, but it's time. And it's going to hurt a lot of beans when I do.
Oh, Tucker can help. Tucker loves to love beans.
Good, because you're going to really have to step up your game when I leave. Especially for MomBean, she's going to need a lot of love because she doesn't deal really well with loss these days. I used to help her with that hurt, and I can't go until I know she's got someone to fill my paws.

Because I...I don't know if I'm coming back this time, Tucker.
No, no, Tuckernokitty *always* comes back! Silly, Tuckernokitty.
Tucker, I'm old. I'm at least 12 by bean years, if not older. And I just feel it inside-I'm too skinny and just sore these days. And it's no fun anymore.
But Tuckernokitty can't go. Just stay. Please, just stay? No make MomBean sad. Is easy.
I can't, lug. Something's pulling me to go. Hopefully you won't understand for a long-ass time.
Tucker will miss you too much for you to go.
And I'll miss everyone, Tucker. I'll visit when I can, but you'll be the only one who will be able to see me.

But we know that there are so many old blogging furiends at the Bridge, showing him around the catnip fields, all the best napping spots, and of course, "Doing the Q" with their healthy new bodies. And our good Grampa is there too! He is furry good at petting cats wif his grate big hands, but he is furry gentle too. He always liked Doing the Q too!

I remember Ruis talking and practicing about Q's and Full Monty's in his blogging years, but somehow i was always too late with the camera. Ruis went over the Rainbow Bridge in November 2014. Many furriends from that time went before or after him. Now it was your time, Monty. It's always too early for the beans, i know. Over the Bridge you'll are young and healthy again, so i have no doubt Doing the Q is also 'hot' again and in full swing over there.

ReplyDeletePrecious friends...we are so sad to learn about Monty going off on his last walkabout...I know little Violette has him safe in her sweet baby girl arms now in heaven. It is good to have old friends at a time like this...we will always remember those good old days when life was young and fun on the CB. Those are the times that form our memories to recall on the dark days when they come....and they do come...it is the price we pay for having had those loving times.

We are all sad to hear about Monty Q, also. We also remember him from a long time ago, before so many sad things happened (including a couple of ours going on walkabouts in the country and not coming back and two going to the bridge due to old age/health, also). We still have 4 furry children, though. I hope that MOST that Monty Q isn't always in the front of your thoughts. He will be missed--and I bet Millie is missing him, too.
