Yeah, yeah, KidBean, Moosh and Caboose all together. NOW WHERE AM I?
See this little girl with the big honkin' cast? She's an 8 week kitten that one of MomBean's friends rescued after it was run over by a car. (AND DROVE AWAY WITHOUT STOPPING.) She's so tiny that she doesn't even have a name yet, but already has a big vet bill from her accident. With a little luck she'll be able to keep her leg, but she's got some healing to do.
Now here's the thing, the amazing person that rescued her doesn't have a lot of money. But she regularly saves dogs from the last minute kill list from local shelters and finds them amazing homes. And this amazing person is very, very humble about what she does and rarely accepts help, if ever. This is where I'm asking for your help.
I know we haven't been around much within the last few months, if not year, but we're asking the kittehs of the Blogosphere for help with this little kitten's recovery. If you're interested we'll pass let us know and we'll pass along the information to you.
You wanted to go outside in the frakking hurricane!
I was bored.
Even your lardness would have blown away in that!
Phhhhht!
(It's an old picture, but once of the better ones I have of him...)
I have some sad news to pass along today. Dude Newman has run off to the Rainbow Bridge. He had developed cancer and was really suffering towards the end. Even then he refused to 'settle down' and just go live inside more often. So his owners brought him in and helped him let go of all of the pain he had been having. He was almost 13.
While he wasn't a 'regular' on the blog, and I wasn't particularly fond of the lug, he did make Mombean happy while he was her cat, and it always made her smile when she saw him around the neighborhood. According to her, he was 'a really good cat'. How can I argue with that.
Take care, dude. You know who you're supposed to check in with when you get up there. I'm counting on you.
Busy, to say the least, can't you tell?
It's been busier than a bunneh in a strawberry patch, but things have settled for the time being. Here's the 'quick' rundown, mostly in order: (starting from about 6-7 weeks ago)
Now if you need me, I'll be getting back to that nap...
Tucker need help from 'web-savy' friends. MomWoof deleted Tucker original blog a few months ago-it was sometime last year. Only today MomWoof noticed that somebean has re-opened it, complete with pictures and stuff.
MomWoof is a little hotheaded, to say the least. Tucker no have admin rights to delete the blog, and MomWoof saying unbloggable words. Even Tuckernokitty! is looking at MomWoof and blushing.
MomWoof left a comment asking random!person to delete blog, but doesn't think it'll work. Can any woofs/kittiehs out there help out? Tucker share his bacon chews...
Let me come a little closer. My Batness? What are you talking about??
Ok, what are you yelling about with my hat fass?
Oh, you were yelling at me to move my fa...
DO YOU KISS THE LITTLE BEANS WITH THAT MOUTH?!?
I have discovered something about MomBean that brings her to a whole new level. When it's cold out* she drinks black tea.
With sugar and MILK in it.
If you need me I'll be trying to shove my head into her mug...
(* Yes, I know cold here is 30 and that would be welcomed in places like mah sweet tuxiekins. MomBean grew up 'a sneeze away from Canada' so she understands what cold is...)
Does Irish Breakfast go well with cat spit?
OMG did you just sneeze in my mug?!?
I seem to have yet another large wound on my backside. Come take care of it for me, I don't feel like licking that stuff.
%&^*(*&^#@!!!
Tucker and Tuckernokitty no mean to leave everyong hanging with no posts again. MomWoof has been really sick lately. She had 'everything from the waist up infected'. The eyes were the best-all crunchy every morning! Tucker offered to clean them, but was told no.
So, MomWoof went to the hooman vet for Aunty Biotic, although Tucker was upset that it wasn't Auntie coming here. MomWoof was starting to get better, but then the little woofs all got the...um. Tucker not sure how to explain besides 'both ends at once' crud. LOTS of things to smell those couple of days. And then MomWoof got that too. And she still coughs a lot. Tuckernokitty thinking that MomWoof going to hack up a kitten.
MomWoof says we aren't funny. Tucker will be under his blanket if you need him.
