MomBean is sad to hear of Buzzerbee's trip to the Bridge. She had to help her two old kitties Rudy (age almost 16), and Spotcat (almost 15) when they were sick. (Spotcat's passing was kinda traumatic...) So she wanted to share somethin a friend of the family told them years ago when Spotcat was sick. We hope it helps somekitty today.
"When the time is near, hold each other as close as you can. Don't worry about what to say-hearts speak on a different language than simple words; you'll be heard. All you have to do is breathe-inhale softly and remember the moment. Put your nose to theirs and breathe-share a breath together. That way they will always be with you, and you with them. Let their last few breaths be from the one they love to help lift their wings."

Oh, mom's been crying off and on for over a week now. We keep loosing our frends and it's to sad...Daddy wuz amembering da one dat came afore, who like Buzz had da cancer, and effun he started crying...to much sadness.

mommy's eyes is really leaky now - she did that breath thing when Ralphie (the one who came before), Trixie and Norton all took their last breaths - so she always has their last breath with her

Monte you made mum's eyes leak again to day. She has been all sniffy about Buzzerbee.
ReplyDeleteMy mommy's crying that was so sweet. She helped my brother McKenzie to the bridge back in February and that reminded her of the last with him.

ReplyDeleteMy mum lost her last kitty cat Puss last year. It was the hardest thing she had to do that trip to the vet. But she knew she had to help Puss as she was very sick.
