MomBean and the little beans are going on a trip later this week, leaving me alone with HeBean and the slobberhound. Two weeks-TWO WEEKS I tell you. And apparently there is a 'no kitties coming' rule as well. Hmph. Well thank you very much, Woman.

The good things:

The 3rd Annual Do The Q! Contest is going to run this year-we just need to get some pictures up of prizes. We here at HQ are also looking for anyone who wants to sponsor a category, please drop me a line at doingtheq @ gmail .com if you're interested. I'll be able to do some posting while the Woman abandons me for the next two weeks, but if someone would like to keep an eye on things over there that would be pawsome as well. Just let me know.

The new blurp will be here mid-ish September. So far everything is going good, in fact so well it's kinda dull. Not that dull is bad! I need to think of a better nickname for him, I want to use Bud but MomBean says no. Phht.

The bad thing:

MomBean's sewing machine broke. Again. And she's tired of fixing it everytime she wants to sew something. I'd like to know if anyone would mind if we held a raffle (for two original Sock Drawer Shelter critters) to help get her a new one. She gets a little twitchy if she can't sew for a few days, and she's got a bunch of things to finish before the new blurp gets here.
