MomBean's a little...erm...stressed at the moment while she finishes her orders. This is her 'not in the mood to get the Zoom Groom for the kitty' look.

 

...did I mention she had an allergy test last week and she's 'sensitive' to about 10 things she used to eat? Like milk? That comes in chocolate? That she can't have for two weeks while she's on some dumb diet?

 

Yeah. I'll be hiding under the bed if you need me.

Oh yes, it's good to be the mancat. I just need to take a little rest though...she is still a knockout, belly or not.

Well MomBean finally finished these. 'bout time, I say.


We're auctioning these two clown sock kitties to raise money for Lilly Liu and Mu Shue's Mum. 
(And if it comes to it, Eric too if his vet bills get big.) 

They are larger than MomBean's usual sock kitties,
so we're using Sprout to show the length and size. 
(Sprout didn't like being woken up by accident,
she isn't commenting on the kitties.)


They are up for auction seperately, and it'll run until June 29th.

Thankfull Thursday Thirteen

Well, for once this will be an easy 13 things to think of! (MomBean's gonna help with the details.) I'm dedicatin' this TT to my BabyBean and her past week.

I'm thankful for:
1. Bay District Volunteer Fire Dept., for getting here in 4 minutes.

2. The kind EMT's who treated BabyBean with lots of love and care.

3. The lack of police out on Rt. 235....you know you were in HeBean's car, remember?

4. The paramedics that were already there when the ambulance drove up.

5. That's it's only an 18 minute flight to D.C. (And that MomBean didn't throw up during it.)

6. Children's Hospital-it's one of the best places she could have gone to.

7. None of BabyBean's joints were affected, so she didn't have to worry about physical therapy.

8. All of the nurses that helped care for BabyBean while she was in the surgical unit.

9. The burn nurse who finally told the doctors that BabyBean was going to go home.

10. Tylenol-MomBean had a 5 day migraine until she got to bring BabyBean home.

11. HeBean, who drove KidBean and himself 2 hours each way to visit. And kept the house goin'.

12. My Milliecat, for keepin' evfurone updated on things.

13. All of YOU! Seriously, I don't think MomBean and I could have even guessed at the amount of love and support from evfuryone. To say we're touched is putting it lightly. Thank you all from the bottom of my furry heart.

BabyBean still has a journey for her recovery, but it's all external. As MomBean said, 'the inside is still the same, the outside is just under construction for a bit.' She's my trooper, though. The only thing MomBean has to worry about now is the pending bill. So she finished her etsy shop-it's not finished and is really rough, but she wanted to do something to help. So I can't belive how many kitties have already entered the Do the Q! contest, Mr. DarthPotato keychain. It's going to be such a fun summer. I've already been 'laffin and laffin' like my buddy Jeter Harris, who has a Uber-Cool squillion contest goin' on right now too. I need to finish thinkin' of my entry for his. MomBean really likes the monkeys. (Somethin' about living with a bunch o' monkeys somedays...)

And one more thing, MomBean finished another kitty, she's calling it Pixie.

Sock Saturday

Aw, guys...

I've been nomiated again by Marilyn Monreow, Mr. Chen and Ollie, AND Ariel. I'm blushing, fank you all so much. :D

I'll get my nominations out in the next day or two, I'm just about done with my other blog. And I have to break my little sister Poppy Q out of prison. So much to do, so many naps to fit in.

Oh! I wanted to show you what MomBean just finished, it's a sock monkey cousin-a sock kitty! I'm naming it after Daisy, cause it's pink and she likes pink. MomBean's thinkin' of selling it once she works up the nerve to set up a shop again. She closed the last one due to her own nerves. Beans.

What do you think? It has whiskers but you can't see them very well in the pictures.
