We're all fine down in Maryland after Irene, I hung out in the garage for the evening due to a 'difference of opinions'.You wanted to go outside in the frakking hurricane!
I was bored.
Even your lardness would have blown away in that!
Phhhhht!

(It's an old picture, but once of the better ones I have of him...)
I have some sad news to pass along today. Dude Newman has run off to the Rainbow Bridge. He had developed cancer and was really suffering towards the end. Even then he refused to 'settle down' and just go live inside more often. So his owners brought him in and helped him let go of all of the pain he had been having. He was almost 13.
While he wasn't a 'regular' on the blog, and I wasn't particularly fond of the lug, he did make Mombean happy while he was her cat, and it always made her smile when she saw him around the neighborhood. According to her, he was 'a really good cat'. How can I argue with that.
Take care, dude. You know who you're supposed to check in with when you get up there. I'm counting on you.
Busy, to say the least, can't you tell?
It's been busier than a bunneh in a strawberry patch, but things have settled for the time being. Here's the 'quick' rundown, mostly in order: (starting from about 6-7 weeks ago)
Now if you need me, I'll be getting back to that nap...
